He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mengwasser and Marcella Mengwasser (Leenan); and his siblings, Betty Jean Gross, Raymond, Herbert and Bernard Mengwasser.
He is survived by: his former spouse Rosalene Taylor; his daughters, Kristine (Pascal Danet) of Plattsmouth and Kathleen (Miguel Guzman) of Denison; his wife Rosie Mengwasser of Denison; and his children, Russell Mengwasser (Jeanne) of Denison, Jeffrey Mengwasser (Cindy) of Denison, Danny Mengwasser of Denison and Vicki Buter of Denison. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; other relatives and friends.
