He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Walde (Ruberg) and William Walde; his former wife Ruth Walde; his siblings, Walter, Virgil, Edward, Raymond, LaDonna, Ruby Jahn, Helen Hinze, Lillian Fastenau, Marlene Brudenell and Wilma Walde; and his son-in-law Craig Conway.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Walde; his sisters, Gladys Hagny of Gettysburg and Marilyn Yoakum of Russell, Iowa.; and his sisters-in-law, Jolene Meyer and Betty Maasen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church in Denison.
