She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Norton and Valda Norton (Higgins); her husband Charles Thompson; her sister Leola Foster (Donald); and her cousin Ruth Buckholtz (Robert).

She is survived by: her children, Larry Thompson (Julie) of Denison, Lori Promes (Craig) of Denison and Darren Thompson (Maretta Janning) of Denison; her grandchildren, Nathan Thompson (Tina) of Denison, Brandon Boger (Jessica) of Earling and Brittany Webb (Jesy) of Denison; her great grandchildren, Emerson, Henry Boger, Tristan, Jordyn Linn, Owen Thompson, Margot Webb and Isla Webb; her sisters, Mary Nelson of Junction City and Sandra Pearson (Richard) of Issaquah, Washington; her siblings-in-law, Norma Jean Thompson (David) of Naperville, Illinois and Donald Thompson of Schaller; and also Kandy Goslar of Denison. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
