With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaVerne H. Ambrose (Denison, Iowa), born in Creston, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2024 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Ambrose and Aneita Ambrose (Barnes); his grandparents, Frank and Lena Ambrose; his parents-in-law, Walter and Marianne Schroth (Wachs); his stepfather-in-law Gerhard Euler; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara (Weldon Kinnison) and Petra Bruebach.
He is survived by: his wife Katja Ambrose of Denison; his son Rob Ambrose (Stacy); his grandchildren, Delaney of Underwood, Hailey of Underwood and Kayley of Underwood; his son Daniel Ambrose (Michelle Kao) of Las Vegas, Nevada; his sisters, Barbara (Ray O'Dell) of Gravity, Iowa and Pamela (Greg Rood) of Ramsey, Minnesota; and his sisters-in-law, Heidrun (Ed Larson) of Emmett, Idaho, Eva Miller (John Hazelwood) of Beaver, Pennsylvania and Elvira "Beutzi" Heiderich of Goettingen, Germany. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
