Kevin Ransom Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Ransom (Denison, Iowa), who passed away on April 10, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Ransom; his parents-in-law, Bob and Barb Toliver; and his sister Sharon Campbell. He is survived by: his mother Beulah Ransom (Frazier) of Denison; his wife Cheryl Ransom of Denison; his sons, Jason Ransom (Laura) of Wall Lake, Jared Ransom of Denison and Jorden Ransom of Denison; his grandchildren, Tyler (Brittany), Kaylee (Chad), Alexis, Braydan (Alicia), Ethan (Hailey), Ciarra (Keagan), Autumn, Addison, Aiden and Stephanie; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Parker, Penelope, Jerzee, Bentlee, Kyra, Kinsley, Piper, Violet and Elena; and his brothers, Kenny Ransom (Kathy) and Steve Ransom (Beverly). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1004 1st Ave S, Denison, IA 51442). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
