He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ransom and Edna Ransom (Asmus); his son-in-law Charles Campbell; his siblings, Larry, Robert, Darold, Thomas, Jim, Dale, Diane, Norma, Darlyne and Marvel; and his half-siblings, Clarence, Earl, Willis, Wid, Donald and Vera.
He is survived by: his wife Beulah Frazier of Denison; his children, Steve, Sharon Campbell of Lebanon, Kenny Ransom (Kathy) of Dow City, Steven Ransom (Beverly) of Denison and Kevin Ransom (Cheryl) of Denison; and his sisters, Julie (Dennis Jepsen) of Denison, Janice (Junior Wood) of Oskaloosa and Carol Goeppner of Webster City, Iowa.
