It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Curnyn (Denison, Iowa), who passed away on November 5, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Riesselman and Catharina Riesselman (Muhlbauer); her former husband Gordon Podey; her grandson Brett Christiansen; her siblings, Herb, Lawrence, Walt, Vince, Hank and Marie; and her siblings-in-law, Delores, Ada, Lucille, Edith, Donna, Bill and Tom.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Curnyn of Denison, IA; her daughters, Laurie Christiansen (Jeff) of St. Joesph, MO and Carol Brus (Scott) of Denison, IA; her grandchildren, Katelyn Deiber (Randy), Holly, Andy, Hannah Brus, Ryan Christiansen and Erin Sten (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Bryce Deiber and Niall Sten; her siblings, Jean Frischmeyer of Lidderdale, IA, Andy Riesselman (JoAnn) of Carroll, IA, Leonard Riesselman of Halbur, IA, Alice Christiansen of Denison, IA and Vernie Riesselman (Betty) of Halbur, IA; and her sister-in-law Linda Riesselman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
