He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Vega and Maria Ester Martinez; and his siblings, Alicia Vega, David Vega, Liadia Vega and Juan Vega.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Vega; his sons, Jorge Jr. Vega (Karina) of Omaha, Juan Vega (Kayla) of Denison, Daniel Vega of Waterloo and Uriel Vega of Denison; his grandchildren, Whitney, Hunter, Hannah, Jordan, Brooklyn, Paisley, Trinity, Emma, Jessa, Autumn, Zedrick, Zinia, Stella, Joshua, Christian, Alejandro, Eduardo, Brittany, Samantha, Betzaida and Kathryn; his great grandchildren, Makai, Ailah and Kingston; his sister Maria Eugenia Vega; and his close friends, Jorge Madrigal (Eileen) of Denison and Macario Perez (Araceli) of Denison. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:45 PM to 3:30 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1004 1st Ave S, Denison, IA 51442). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
