He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Powers and Mary Powers; his wife Rita; his grandson Jeremy; and his siblings, George, Joe, Rosalie, Catherine, Jean and Nancy.
He is survived by: his children, John, James, Nick, Tom (Sherry), Mary Ann (DeRyan), Patricia (Kenard) and Gerri Ann (Keith); and his sisters, Sally, Joan (Don), Mary Carol and Jane. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
