She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Dow and Mae Bates (Anderson); her siblings, Helen Sammons, Maxine Broer, Elaine Cochran, Marvis Lux, Janice Wenker and Jerry Bates; her close friend Norb Roecker; and also Wilford "Bill" Hiles.
She is survived by: her former husband Wilford "Bill" Hiles; her daughters, Mary Bruhn (Randy) of Carroll, Linda Petersen (Ricky) of Denison and Joni Slechta (Todd) of Denison; and her sister-in-law Margaret Bates of Vancouver, Washington. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
