We bid farewell to Jeff Nelson (Denison, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 27, 2025 at the age of 66. Jeff touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Jeff farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jeff is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his mother Arlene Nelson (Aden). He is survived by: his father Denzil Nelson of Denison; his children, Chris Nelson (Annie) of Indianola and Kate (Eric Griffith) of Moline, Illinois; his brother Brad Nelson of Denison; and his stepbrothers, TJ and Aaron Nelson of Paris, Kentucky. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (113 S 14th St, Denison, IA 51442). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
