She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Schwitzer and Marie Caroline Schwitzer (Bartels); her husband Delmar DJ "Buck" Ellis; her siblings, Joan Simpson and Byron Schwitzer; and her great-niece Kristin Webb (Haase).
She is survived by: her son Jay Ellis of Kihei, Hawaii; her grandson Byron Ellis of Santa Monica, California; her sister Mary Weresh of Atlantic; her niece Debra Haase (Douglas) of Denison; and her great-niece Jessica Rangel (Ayax) of Aurora, Illinois. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
