She is survived by: her husband John DeMey of Denison; her children, Denny DeMey (Sherri) of Denison, Rick DeMey of Denison, Dan DeMey (Miarian) of Dow City and Amy DeMey of Denison; her grandchildren, Eric Swanson (Niki), Michael Swanson, Nathaly Castro, Luis Castro, Elvin Castro, Maria Castro and Shane DeMey (Devon); her great grandchildren, Miriam Swanson and Vivian Soto; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Cue of Dunlap and Ellen Brink of Dow City.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1004 1st Ave S, Denison, IA 51442). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the Dow City Cemetery.
