It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Werkmeister (Denison, Iowa), who passed away on March 11, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Werkmeister and Violet Werkmeister; and his grandson Eric. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Downing; his children, Mickey (Kim), Tina (Tim) and Carrie (Aaron); and his sisters, Judie, Peggy (Robert), Linda and Marlys. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five step grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
