She was predeceased by: her parents, Willhelm Schwenn and Anna Schwenn (Schmidt); her husband Ewald; her children, Darlene, Donald and Larry "Sod" Stark; and her siblings, Violet Petersen, Clarence, Alvin and Marvin Schwenn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Johnson of Knoxville, Tennessee, Diana Long (Doug) of Cedar Rapids and Bonnie Schmitz (Steve) of Westside; and her grandchildren, Pamela Swanson, Alison Johnson, Thomas W. Johnson, Jessica Cantrell (Matt), Andrea Long, Emily Long, Michael Long (Lisa), Jeffrey Schmitz (Heather Rivera) and Sarah Hiler (Tom). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
