She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolfo and Beatrize Gutierrez Palma; and her husband Manuel Palencia. She is survived by: her children, Karen Barrera (Alejandro) of Aurelia, Ricardo Estrada (Sarah) and Mario Palencia (Jemima) of Denison; and her sister Clariza Ochoa of Mexico City. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
