He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Beam and Johanna Beam (Detlefsen); his siblings, Gilbert, Vernon, John Allen, Glen and Dale Beam; and his nephews, Donald Beam and Bryan Dalton.
He is survived by: his former wife Hazel Jurgensen; his wife Karen Beam of Charter Oak, Iowa; his children, Sue TenEyck (Jim) of Dow City, Roger Beam (Melanie) of Arion, Charlie (Shelia) of Dow City, Phyl TenEyck (Terry) of Dow City, Cheryl Maynard (Tim) of Ricketts and Levi Beam of Charter Oak; his siblings, Evelyn Dalton of Vail, Ed Beam (Linda) of Arion, Jane Bell (Jay) of Arion, Paul Beam (Edee) of Bemidji and James Beam (Tammy) of Arion; and his siblings-in-law, Bea Beam of Denison, Jenell Beam of Arion and Jeanie Beam of Denison. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
Masks and social distancing are required at the visitation, the family will not be present and only 15 people are allowed in the building at a time.
