She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Johansen and Esther Johansen (Honnaker); her husband Alvin Schwenn; her son Keith Schwenn; and her siblings, June Jarvi and Merrill Johansen.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Francis (Boleslaw Bobolinski) of Des Moines and Kenneth Schwenn (Kristol) of Neligh, Nebraska.; her grandchildren, Matthew (Allana), Jared (Melissa), Nick, Adam Schwenn (Shannon), Jessica Potts (Bill) and Cassandra Armenta-Schwenn; her stepgrandson Charles LaRue (Cherokee); her great grandchildren, Joey, Jack, Kaitlyn Jean, Kalvin, Devon, Blake, Taylor Jean, Easton Schwenn, Brynn, Quinn Potts, Haylee and Brianna Schwenn; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Carly and Sage Varo; her brother Harold Johansen of Terrill, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Irene Stark of Denison, Iowa.
