He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Eck and Caroline Eck; his son Kevin; his sister Lois (Harold); his son-in-law Ron; and his parents-in-law, Walter and Sadie.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Kroll August; his children, Lanette (Gene), Lanice (Gerry) and Keith (Lori); his daughter-in-law Tami (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Jared (Heather), Joshua (Katie), Brandon (Alissa), Kelby (Leah), Dillon (Abby), Madison (Justin), Annie, Reggie (Cori), Elliott and Cooper. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
