She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Elwell and Eva Elwell (Myer); her stepsisters, Evelyn and Zelma; and her great grandchildren, Jeremiah and Isaiah Whiteing.
She is survived by: her former spouse Russell R. Johnson; and her children, Cynthia Volkmann (Larry) of Odebolt, Thomas Johnson of Odebolt, Elizabeth Johnson of Wall Lake, Russell Johnson of Denison, Bob Johnson (Tina) of Altoona and Tamie Johnson of Ida Grove. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
