She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Ladwig and Hulda Ladwig (Blunk); her husband Herman Henkel; her son Raymond; and her siblings, Edward Ladwig, Dorothy Furne, Melvin Ladwig and Gladys Hoffmeier.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Henkel (Joyce) of Deloit and Betty Buffinton of Ida Grove; her grandchildren, Mike Henkel, Mark Henkel, Tiffany Henkel, Sheri Neddermeyer, Sheila Chase, Donna Buffinton, Tony Buffinton, Andrea Henkel and Stephanie Henkel; and her sister-in-law Helen Ladwig. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
