She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Koenck and Violet Koenck (Warrington); her husband Donald "Cactus" Zimmer; her children, Keith Zimmer, Susan Reising and Karen Reisz; her son-in-law Neil Reising (Bob Reisz Jr.); and her siblings, Raynard Koenck, Vernie Koenck, Llyod Koenck and Norma Fineran.
She is survived by: her children, Francis Zimmer (Vicki) of Deloit, Chuck Zimmer (Pat) of Leonard, Dale Zimmer (Judy) of Kiron, Donna Galles (Roger) of Remsen, Mary Jane Siegner (Joe) of Vail and Joan Bauer (Brent) of Audubon; and her siblings-in-law, Lorraine Koenck, Mary Lou Koenck of Wall Lake and Duane Zimmer of Ankeny. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Twilight Acres Nursing Home.
