He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Babe and Edna Babe (Smith); his wife Irene Starman of Peter's Catholic Church; his sister Patsy; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Fricke, Lawrence, Loretta Starman, Louise Starman, Margaret, Ulrich Rosman, Marie Starman, Ray, Pat Starman, Hermie Starman, Rita and Bob Fisher.
He is survived by: his children, Coleen of Atlantic, IA, Jerome (Andrea) of Chicago, IL, Mary (Jack) of Centennial, CO, Jean (Mike) of Norwalk, IA and Laurie (Dave) of Anita, IA; his grandchildren, Lucy, Addison, Jori (Seth), Ruby, Jackson, Charlie and Lola; his great grandchild Robin; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Starman Von Seggren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (916 2nd Ave S, Denison, IA 51442). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
