He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Weinbrandt and Lorraine Weinbrandt (Marsh); his nephew Nathan Schmadeke; and his great-nephew Rhett Younggren. He is survived by: his son Douglas Weinbrandt (Sarah) of Charter Oak; his granddaughters, Josie and Addie; his sisters, Marlys Schmadeke (Keith) of Florida, Marlene Simonson (Doyle) of Marion and Janet Hoffman (Jeff) of Carroll; his nieces and nephews, April, Aaron (Jenny), Kelsey (Matt), Heather (John) and Courtney (Adam); and his aunt Judie Marsh of Wall Lake. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Huebner Funeral Home (1437 Broadway, Denison, IA 51442). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025.
