We bid farewell to Alice Mae Krapfl (Denison, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 5, 2025 at the age of 92. Alice Mae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Miller and Alice Mae Oertell Miller (Sprague); her husband Karl Krapfl; her children, Lynn Blunk and Ronald Krapfl; her siblings, Jeanne Schmitt (Sylvester), Ray (Gayle), Clarence (Maxine), Louis and Elmer "Buddy"; and her son-in-law Robert Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Robinson of Converse, Julie Funk (Nile) of Waverly, Larry Krapfl (Tracie) of Anthon and Kathy Thul (Ross) of Denison; her grandchildren, Christina Hickey (Michael), Rick Robinson (Aviana), Andrea Moulds (Danny), Matthew Funk (Katie Jo), Jeremy Snell, Jonathan Snell (Zoe), Joshua Snell (Morgan), Brandon Krapfl (Kendra), Kayl Krapfl (Amy), Austin Thul (Sophia Schultz), Taylor Thul (Chloe Hoagland), Blake Thul (Grace), Alicia Thul and Gregory Blunk; and her son-in-law Bruce Blunk of Vail. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to Dementia Research or St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church for a mass intention in Alice's name at a later date.
