He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl Boomershine; his siblings, Amy Baughman, Bertha Baughman and Dwight Baughman; and his brothers-in-law, Harry Johnson and Ken Beattie.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Etta Johnson of Oskaloosa and Eileen Beattie of Nashville; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis and Ray Boomershine of Oskaloosa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event.
