It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Hammes Warnick of Delta, Iowa, born in Harper, Iowa, who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Adam and Pearl Adam (Sondag). She is survived by: her former husband LeRoy Walter Hammes; her husband Leo Clair Warnick Jr.; her children, Patrick Hammes (Merry), Cheryl Bird (Donald), Harry Hammes, Leroy Hammes (Lori), Charlene Unkel (Carl), Peter Hammes (Patty), Mark Hammes (Tracy), Daniel Hammes (Ray Robles) and Deanna Montgomery (Charles); her stepchildren, Larry Warnick (Ann), Terry Warnick (Julia), Jeanne McAdam (Tim), Gary Warnick (Anna Hayek), Nancy Luepke (Mark) and Jerry Warnick (Arlene); her brother Harry Joe Adam (Rita); her sister-in-law Donna Adam; her children, Edward Hammes and Elizabeth Jones; her siblings, Juan Adam, Oda Reed, Ruth Ann Adam, Theophlia Adam, Adella Greiner, Verda Sieren, Theodore Adam, Verena Snakenberg and Elmer Adam; and her granddaughters, Lana Lynn Hammes and Faith Ann Al-Munajed. She is also survived by 30 Grandchildren; 62 Great Grandchildren; and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.
