He is survived by: his children, Regina (Darin Schau) of Ida Grove and Rashelle (Bill Rickers) of Decatur, NE; his wife Roseann Olson of Deloit; his sons, Rodney Olson (Erin) of Schleswig and Ronnie Olson (Staci) of Avoca; and his siblings, Dona Siemer of Spickard, MO, Wayne Olson of Spickard, MO, Diana (Lonnie Blunk) of Princeton, MO, Debbie (Creston Schubert) of Galva, IA and Cindy (Ron Hoffmeier) of Denison. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren;3 step-grandchildren; 2 step- great-granddaughters.
