With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis John Stahmer of Delmar, Iowa, who passed away on February 19, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Stahmer and Lois Stahmer (Kruse); his granddaughters, Lila and Hope; his siblings, Glen and Jeanne; and his pet Jake.

He is survived by: his children, John Stahmer of Bettendorf and Jayna Lindell (Pat) of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Devon, Chloe Stahmer and Leilani Lindell; his siblings, William "Cowboy" Stahmer (Kathy), Nancy Sparbel, Mary Diercks and Lori Strohbehn (Rick); and his pet Piff. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Dennis Stahmer Estate care of Maquoketa State Bank 112 McKinsey Dr, Maquoketa, IA 52060, for future dedication.

“My sincere sympathy and prayers to the family of Dennis Stahmer. My grandparents were Emil and Dora Stahmer. I am thinking we are somehow related through the name Stahmer. My mother was Bernice, married to Fred Levetzow. The names of Everett and Glen seems to ring a bell. My parents are gone now 43 and 29 years. So I have no one to ask.
