He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles David and Brenda L. Seyfert (Kanneberg); and his sister Wendy Seyfert. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth Sterbenz of Delmar, IA; his son Jeremy Gage of Clinton, IA; his brothers, Rod Seyfert (Kathy) of Delmar, IA and Kurt Seyfert of Delmar, IA; his uncles, Paul Seyfert (Cathy) of Delmar, IA and Craig Kanneberg of Olin, IA; and his stepmother Lorelie Seyfert of Maquoketa, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carson Celebration (318 W Pleasant St, Maquoketa, IA 52060). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Delmar United Methodist Church (305 Delmar Ave, Delmar, IA 52037).
