He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Dwight and Erma Hardison, Sr. (Nixon); his wife Barbara Hardison of Delmar, IA; his children, Angela Mortenson (Nick) of Maquoketa, IA, Carl Hardison III (Tina Bennett) of Maquoketa, IA, Amy Hardison of Maquoketa, IA, Dale Hardison (Kristin) of Norwalk, IA and Kim Hardison (Nick Crouch) of Maquoketa, IA; his siblings, Dale Hardison (Linda) of Delmar, IA, John Hardison (Cathy) of Moline, IL, Nancy Corlis (Lorene) of Miles, IA, Anna Till (Cletus) of Spragueville, IA, Bonnie Cruz of Maquoketa, IA and Suzie Spain (Terry) of Delmar, IA; and his pet Lola. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
