He was predeceased by: his parents, Berkeley Sievers and Ruth Sievers (Murray); and his brother Frederick "Mike" Sievers. He is survived by: his former spouse Myrt Yager; his children, Cynthia Fowler (Gunnar Berg) of Savage, Thomas Sievers (Ann Mescher) of Manchester and Scott Sievers (Lisa) of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Chet Sievers (Brittany), Kelly Nelson (Matt), Brittani Sievers (Devon Taylor) and Butch Sievers; his great grandchildren, Kalei, Emma, Truett and Kallum; his close friend Maureen Barker of Delhi; his siblings, Jim Sievers (Pat) of Hazel Green, Mary Kay Brimeyer (Jan) of Madison and Susan Shubert (Leo) of Bettendorf; his sister-in-law Mary Sievers of Dubuque; and also, Brian Lahey, Matt Pasker, Larry and Jan Paulsen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Delhi Fire Department and First Responders.
