He is survived by: his wife Lana K. Gibbs; his sons, Lance Young of Manchester, IA and Philip Young (Cassie) of Yukon, OK; his grandchildren, Samantha Young, Danielle Young and Zachariah Young; his daughter Tanya Geer of Waterloo, IA; his grandsons, William Geer, Benjamin Geer and Calvin Nosbisch; his great grandchild Tara Young of North Liberty, IA; his siblings, Terry Young (Patricia) of Earlville, IA and Cheryl Meader of Sun City, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Gibbs, Gary Gibbs, Diane Welte, Kent Gibbs and Laurie Becker.
His generosity knew no bounds, as evidenced by the trophy fish he donated to the Bailey Ford Conservation Center in Manchester.
