He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Gibbs and Doris Gibbs (Hartman); his former wife Edith McDill; his wife Maxine; his daughters, Jessica Gibbs and Jennifer Manson; and his siblings, Beverly Skaja and Deborah Morehouse.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Gibbs of Des Moines, Terry Gibbs of Muscatine, Diane Welte of Bettendorf, Lana Young of Delhi and Laurie Becker of Delhi; and his nephew Emigdio. He is also survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
