With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Guetzko (Delhi, Iowa), who passed away on January 29, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustaf Guetzko and Jennie Guetzko (Kurth); his wife Wilma Gates Guetzko; his son-in-law William Dekarske; his nephew Greg V. Guetzko; and his siblings, Louis, Evelyn Berends (Lewis), Vida Vesey Engel (Denny) and Betty Ann McGee (Ben).
He is survived by: his children, John Guetzko (Peggy) of West Branch, Wendy Dekarske of Waterloo, Grant Guetzko (Tana) of Delhi, Beth Birdsell of Sioux City and Becky Hart (Kit) of Spokane, Washington; his grandchildren, Valerie Guetzko, Michael Guetzko, Lu Guetzko, Michelle Guetzko, Amber Vaske (Wes), Austin Wessels (Olena), Greg Guetzko, Garrett Guetzko, Gabriela Guetzko, Faith Birdsell, Libby Birdsell, Nichol Hart and Laura Hart; and his brother-in-law Jerry Engel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
