He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nurre and Ruth Nurre (Benn); and his father-in-law James Joseph Werner (Manchester). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Marie Werner; his children, Jason Nurre of Delaware, Jeff Nurre of Delhi, Jennifer Tagtow (Jordan) of Waterloo, Jeremy Nurre (Allison) of Earlville, Jordan Nurre (Carly) of Tucson, AZ and Justine Helle (Jordan) of Delhi; his granddaughters, Lily, Addilyn and Ava; his siblings, Richard Nurre (Mary) of Marion, Paul Nurre of Arizona, Margaret Picray (Bob) of Monticello, Michael Nurre of Cedar Rapids, Mary Kelchen (Steve) of Anamosa and Susan Hartzler (Jim) of Byron, Minnesota; his uncles, Tom Nurre (Mary Ellyn) of Cedar Rapids, Louie Benn (Ruth) of Manchester and George Benn (Linda) of Dubuque; and his mother-in-law Elizabeth "Betty" Werner of Manchester. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law and sisters in-law, nieces and nephews.
