It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Mulligan of Defiance, Iowa, born in Harlan, Iowa, who passed away on September 18, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Mulligan and Dorothy Mulligan (Plagman); his grandson Peter Fuglsang; and his brother James Mulligan. He is survived by: his son Andrew; his wife Diane Mulligan of Defiance, Iowa; his children, Theresa Mulligan (Michael Phillips) of Omaha, Nebraska, Shari Springman (Jim) of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Rick Mulligan (Michelle) of Defiance, Iowa and Andy Mulligan (Tiffany) of Defiance, Iowa; and his sister Judy Stuck (William) of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
