He is survived by: his father Jerome Sheets (Sarah) of Montezuma; his former spouse Billie Jo Schultz; his wife Mary Jo Steele of New Sharon; his children, Kelsie Parton (Ryan) of Oskaloosa, Kiegan Watts (Colin) of Montezuma, Brynna Vande Noord (Jake) of Lynnville and Carly Steele of Tiffin; his grandchildren, Maverick Watts and Lauren Vande Noord; his siblings, Tim Sheets of Iowa City and Becky Dagle (John) of Iowa City; and his mother-in-law Dorothea Wanders.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Montezuma Shooting Sports, the Montezuma Fire Department or Pella Hospice.
