Robert Hagerty Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Robert Hagerty of Deep River, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hagerty and Joanna Hagerty (Deep River); his granddaughter Laiken; his brother-in-law Cleon Melsa; and also, John and Joanna Hagerty.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Blake of Deep River; his sons, Jared (Carrie) of Tiffin, IA and Justin (Lauren) of Haymarket, VA; his grandchildren, Brody, Lauren, Reese and Siena Hagerty; and his brothers, Joseph Hagerty (Melodie) of Muscatine, IA and Matt Hagerty (Tammy) of Johnston, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and brother and sisters-in-law.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Manatts Community Center (105 Jackson St, Brooklyn, IA 52211).
In honor of his brave granddaughter's battle with childhood cancer at the age of 10, the family would like memorials given for Laiken to her LIVE LIKE LAIKEN Foundation to help fight and donate to the University of Iowa pediatric cancer families and St. Jude's for pediatric cancer research.
