We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2023, at the age of 67, Pete Bazyn of Deep River, Iowa, born in Victor, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Arthur Bazyn and Shirley Ann Bazyn (Gensley); and his pet Daisy. He is survived by: his fiancée Paulette Claypool of Deep River; his children, Peter Bazyn of Hornbeak, Ryan Bazyn of Cedar Rapids and Danielle Claypool of Deep River; his granddaughters, Kendall Bazyn and Mia Matteson; his brothers, Richard Bazyn (Jane) of Victor and Dan Bazyn (Theresa) of Victor; his nieces, Sara Herman (Pat), Jessie Davis (Tim) and Danette Meyer (Dan); and his nephew Derec Bazyn (Shannon).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the University of Iowa Holden Cancer Center and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, PO Box 485, Victor, IA 52347.
