He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Cranston and Karen Cranston (Derby); his daughter Susan Stoner; his brother Timothy Cranston; his mother-in-law Ruth Ewing; and his brother-in-law Mitch Stockdale.

He is survived by: his former spouse Sandi Brownlee; his daughters, Sara Lynn and Jesi Marie; his wife Robin Cranston of Deep River; his daughters, Sara Cranston (Timothy Coats), Jesi Wanders (Brandon) of Deep River and Amy Kriegel (Shane) of Brooklyn; his grandchildren, Ethan Pierce, Emma Pierce, Ella Pierce, Kalynn Wanders, Haylee Walters, Wyllie Walters, Kyler Kriegel, Lincoln Kriegel and Ayla Kriegel; and his siblings, Michael Cranston of Deep River, Kimberly Koch of Deep River and Laurie Tanke (Marvin) of Guernsey. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and friends.
