It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Joseph Van Dee of Deep River, Iowa, born in Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on November 21, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Dee and Verla Schultz Van Dee; his great grandchild Tessa Sauter; and his brothers, Marion Van Dee (Betty) and Jim Van Dee.
He is survived by: his wife Marla Wehrle; his children, Laura Ballou (Mark) of Killeen, TX, Lana Wanders (Gary) of Pella, Lane Van Dee (Tina) of Deep River and Laird Van Dee (Stephanie) of Adel; his siblings, Dave Van Dee (Carol) of Deep River and Ann Van Hamme (Mark Seaton) of Vinton; and his sister-in-law Janet Van Dee of Altoona.
