Donna Ankenbauer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Ankenbauer (Dedham, Iowa), who passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Stangl and Hilda Stangl (Underberg); her brother-in-law Harry Ankenbauer (Betty) of Milford, MI; her husband Dean Ankenbauer; her brothers, Anthony, Billy Lee and Robert Stangl (Rosie); her parents-in-law, Bernard and Freda Ankenbauer; and her siblings-in-law, Doug Ankenbauer (Cleo), Robert Ankenbauer and Linda Robinson (Lloyd).
She is survived by: her daughters, Rae Halterman (Dan) of Lake View, Gae Hilgenberg (Ric) of Avoca and Kay Volman (Steven) of Grand Junction, CO.; her grandchildren, Josh (Reanna), Zach (Nicki), Nat (Jennifer Diggers), Daniel Halterman (Holly Nicely), Travis (Kim), Trevor (Tia), Tyler Hilgenberg (Brooke), Tiffany Fatka (Matt) and Lukas Volman; her sisters, Linda Sedivey (Harlan) of Omaha and Marilyn Stangl (Frank Matulich) of Bellevue, WA.; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Ankenbauer of Dedham and Diane Kitt (Ray) of Dedham. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
In lieu of flowers donations will be distributed to Donna's favorite charitable organizations.
