He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Utke and Wilhelmina Utke (Fritz); and his siblings, Albert, Martha, Palma, Marvin, Louise, Lawrence, Reinhold, Myrtle, Elroy and Luella.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Kimberly Utke and Dr. Calvin Utke (Kathryn) of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandson Dr. Will Matthias Schouten (Kathryn); his great grandchildren, Luke Matthias and Liam Thomas of Rochester, MN; his stepgranddaughters, Siri Svanoe-Loggins (Allen) of Richmond, CA and Anya Svanoe of Oakland, CA; and his sister-in-law Crystal Utke of Moorhead, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
