He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Willis and Mary Marguerite Farnnham Willis; his brother-in-law Nick Nichols; his stepdaughter Debra Stewart; and his parents-in-law, Evelyn and Paul Gegenheimer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Willis of New Virginia, IA; his siblings, Caroline Nichols of St. Joseph, MO and John Willis (Karen) of Savannah, MO; his sons, Chris Willis of Independence, MO and Jeff Willis (Kelly) of Shelby, NE; his stepdaughter Kimberly Dawn Thomas (Scott); and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Stewart (Mark) of Oxford, Peggy Williams of Williamsburg, Iowa and Patrick Gegenheimer of Brooklyn. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, a step great-grandson.
