He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Teslow and Hilda Teslow (Lovstuen); his wife Lorraine E. Stortz; his son Michael; his siblings, Stanley Teslow, Lester Teslow and Arlene Matter; and his great great grandchild Penelopie Bagnaud.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Sanderman (Eugene) and Dean Teslow (Mary); his grandchildren, Jeff Sanderman (Dawn), Brian Sanderman (Kim), Daniel Sanderman (Mandie), Hollie Teslow, Abbie DeGregorio (Kelly) and Natalie Teslow; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Caitlin Sanderman, Hannah, Claire Sanderman, Taryn, Tegyn Sanderman and Aoife DeGregorio; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Tayla Begnaud (Stephanie), Kyle Begnaud (Chelsea) and Kody Begnaud (Shelby); and his great great grandchild Annabeth Begnaud. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Walter's family requests that in lieu of flowers or gifts, memorials may be given to the Glenwood Lutheran Cemetery Fund, 1197 Old Stage Rd., Decorah, IA 52101.
