She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hovey and Clara Hovey (Syverson); her husband Obert Donald Sacquitne; her children, Virlis McClintock and Orlando Donald Sacquitne; and her sister Colleen Askelson.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Steffens (Larry) of Cedar Falls, IA, Marybeth Cary (Lyle Jr.) of Decorah and David Sacquitne (Julie) of Decorah; her sister Martha Casterton of Decorah; and her son-in-law LeRoy McClintock (Deanna) of Decorah. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Decorah Lutheran Church, 309 Winnebago St., Decorah, IA 52101.
