Sondra Pierce Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sondra Pierce of Decorah, Iowa, born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, O. Vance Rosell and Norma Rosell (Gilson); and her husband Darrell Pierce. She is survived by: her children, Scott Pierce (Lori) of Decorah, Cara Smith (Todd) of Decorah and Bartt Pierce (Nicole) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Breanne Hocker (Cole), Bryce Pierce (Kristin), Soleil Smith, Hogan Smith, Khadijah Pierce and Hayden Pierce; her siblings, Judy (Randy), Mary (José) and Robert (Allyn); and her brother-in-law Steve (Carol). She is also survived by five nephews and a niece, as well as many cousins.
