He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Ruen and Laila Ruen (Thorsen). He is survived by: his father-in-law Lawrence Tjossem; his aunts, Marv and Myrna Mardock of Decorah; his uncle Bunni Cooper; and also, Mark (Nancy), Cindy Tjossem Mychajlyszyn (Roman) and Steve (Kari).
Memorials will be donated to Decorah Bicycles for children who need bikes, helmets, or service.
