He was predeceased by: his wife Hattie; his parents, Lewis Lillegraven and Elizabeth Lillegraven; his daughter Susan Williams; his son-in-law Dave Williams; and his siblings, Maynard Lillegraven, Wendal Lillegraven and Phyllis Smith.
He is survived by: his son John Lillegraven (Wanda) of Decorah; his grandchildren, Paul Lillegraven (Nicki) of Decorah, Brian Williams (Kim) of Des Moines, John Williams (Stacy) and Ashley Klingaman (Jon) of Ankeny; his great grandchildren, McKinley Lillegraven, Andy Lillegraven, Breanna Williams, Nathan Williams, Natalie Williams and Hattie Klingaman; his sister Dolores Gerber of Cresco; his children, Emma, Tate and Owen; and also Kim Williams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
